A Bit About Me

Denise Haugen is a Registered Massage Therapist with over 25 years of experience, proudly serving the Prince Albert community she has called home her entire life. Raised in an entrepreneurial family alongside two older sisters, Denise developed a strong work ethic and a passion for helping others from an early age.

Her interest in massage therapy began as early as Grade 5 at Vincent Massey School, where she first discovered her calling. Throughout her youth, Denise was highly active in sports and school life—participating in racquetball, tennis, wrestling, and basketball with the PACI Bears, and later serving as head cheerleader for the Carlton Crusaders.

After graduating in 1998, Denise moved to Saskatoon to attend the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy. During her training, she realized that many traditional massage techniques could feel overly intense, which inspired her to develop a more thoughtful, client-centered approach focused on effectiveness without unnecessary discomfort.

Denise completed the 2200-hour Massage Therapy Diploma Program in 2002 and began her career shortly after. In 2003, she returned to Prince Albert to raise her family and build her practice. Over the years, she has worked in a variety of clinical and wellness settings, gaining diverse experience and refining her skills.

Her journey has included both professional growth and time dedicated to family life. After stepping away briefly to raise her children, Denise returned to practice in 2016 and later opened her own clinic, continuing to evolve her approach to care.

Today, Denise operates a home-based practice, allowing her to offer more personalized, focused treatments in a comfortable and welcoming environment. Her work is rooted in a holistic philosophy, with a strong passion for meditation, yoga, movement, balanced living, and overall wellness.

Denise is committed to helping clients feel better in their bodies—through treatments that are effective, respectful, and tailored to each individual.
